Match-3 special pieces explained: rockets, bombs and disco balls
In Fruity Village, matching four in a row makes a Rocket that clears a whole line, an L or T shape makes a Bomb, and five in a row makes a Disco Ball that clears every fruit of one colour. Combining two specials creates the biggest cascades — save them for blockers and the last few goals.
How do you make each special?
- Four in a row → Rocket (clears a line).
- L or T shape → Bomb (clears the area around it).
- Five in a row → Disco Ball (clears one colour).
Which combinations are strongest?
- Rocket + Rocket: clears a row and a column.
- Bomb + Rocket: a wide sweep.
- Disco Ball + any special: turns a whole colour into that special.
When should you use them?
Aim them at frozen tiles, stone, crates and jam that ordinary matches can't reach, and keep one ready for the final moves.
